Project Description: This workshop, provided by Metropolitan Community College (MCC) in Omaha, Nebraska, combines the needs of diversity training and conflict resolution in a quick one hour instructor facilitated e-learning experience. In this course, the students are given the skills to help resolve conflict when it arises around issues of race, gender, age, social class, sexual orientation, religion, and physical or mental disabilities. In order to complete this course, students are asked to take part in a 1-hour asynchronous blended course were they followed along in the e-learning course with an instructor facilitating the learning. This format allowed the instructor to answer questions, dive into detail on sensitive topics, and allow the students to progress through the e-learning course as they wished.
